20 Crazy Facts You Just Have To Accept To Enjoy The Transformers Franchise

1. Dinobots Were Totally Wasted (Age Of Extinction)

And finally, while Age of Extinction was pretty much sold to audiences on the presence of the Dinobots, they only show up late in the movie and get about 10 minutes of screen time, briefly kicking a** and then...the movie ends. Given how popular the Dinobots are and how much they could have spiced up the action, it's hard to imagine what Bay and Kruger were thinking when they decided to relegate them to such a small part of the movie. After all, if the Dinobots were featured in a significant portion of the movie, wouldn't this be better for the movie and for Hasbro as a whole? Kids would have wanted nothing but Dinobot toys for Christmas, but instead, Bay and co. missed a golden opportunity by making them seem like an afterthought. In a 165-minute movie, they basically get lost in the shuffle, and as they're probably the best thing about the movie, it's a damn shame. What are your two cents on the Transformers franchise?
