15% - 85 Reviews A remake of Franco Zeffirelli's 1981 film (what?) of same name and second adaptation of Scott Spencer's novel (who?), Enduring Love stars Alex Pettyfer from Magic Mike and Alex Rider, and Robert Patrick from Terminator 2, sadly not as a stripper/spy or killer robot, respectively. It's an over-long, really boring and incredibly milquetoast star-crossed lovers film, where the lovers never seem particularly in peril and their relationship manages to develop without any real complications. They fall in love and that's about it. Good for them! Bad for narrative tension! Choice review quote: "Its about one hundred pages, and the only ones that were not dreary were sciatica inducing."
