20 Most Critically Reviled Films Of 2014

11. Rage

14% - 37 Reviews Almost certainly produced because it looked cool putting Nicolas Cage above the title Rage on the poster (rhyming is cool, right), the Nouveau Shamanic actor and professional hairpiece model continues his descent to the bottom of the barrel €“ the further €“ with this totally unimaginative and tedious action crime thriller. Remember the good old days, when he starred in the likes of Face/Off and Drive Angry 3D? They were total nonsense, but it was entertaining nonsense. This is just really boring, far too po-faced and serious, and totally wastes not only Cage but Danny Glover and Peter Stormare. Choice review quote: €œRage has knife fights, foot chases, car chases, point-blank shotgun blasts, and Peter Stormare as a wheelchair-bound Irish mobster-and somehow manages to make them all seem dull.€ (AV Club)
