20 Most Critically Reviled Films Of 2014

6. Grace Of Monaco

9% - 54 Reviews Grace Kelly lead an interesting life. Not content with being one of the most famous screen sirens of the time, she upped and married herself off to Prince Rainier III, became Princess of Monaco. There's enough in Kelly's biography to make a host of biopics, but Grace Of Monaco chose to focus on her life with Rainier. To its detriment, apparently. Casting Nicole Kidman as the star probably wasn't a good idea either since, who would really want to play Grace Kelly? Anybody would pale in comparison. It didn't help that Olivier Dahan's film was totally vapid and hollow. Choice review quote: €œThe Shrek movies deconstruct fairy tale conventions with much more depth and wit than this dreary parade of lifeless celebrity waxworks.€ (The Hollywood Reporter)
