Nite Owl (Patrick Wilson) and Silk Spectre (Malin Akerman) hook up, resulting in this tremendously embarrassing scene, where the two start rutting along to Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, a song very nearly ruined by its placement here. The scene gets ultra-goofy points for taking place in slow motion while Silk Spectre keeps her ridiculous knee-high boots on, and as Nite Owl pumps away, she mashes a button on the ship's console to set off a stream of fire to signify their climax. Because all this postmodernist superhero action flick needed was an immature sex scene, right? Yes, it's heavily lifted from the comics, but still, it's hard to know what the hell Snyder was thinking.
