The cringe gets dialed up to 11 in Zack Snyder's Superman movie when, at the tail-end, Superman has a few words with General Swanwick. Supes flies off and Swanwick turns around to see one of his officers, Captain Carrie Farris, grinning. Swanwick asks what she's smiling about and she coyly pauses for a moment before declaring, "I just think he's kinda hot." It's meant to be a small dose of comic relief after all that epic destruction in the final battle, but it's more embarrassing than anything. And strangely enough, Farris will be back for Batman V Superman, for some God-forsaken reason.
