20 Easter Eggs From Spider-Man: No Way Home You May Have Missed
19. Connections To The MCU Spider-Man Movies
Much like with the MCU in general, there are lots of small Easter Eggs referring to previous events or items in Homecoming and No Way Home. Again, we'll treat them like one big item:
- Delmar's Bodega, which first appeared in Homecoming as a scene of destruction where Peter thwarted a ATM robbery attempt, has been rebuilt, as evidenced when Peter and MJ popped up from the sewer in front of it
- When MJ and Peter are on the phone, several of the drawings MJ created while in detention in Homecoming are visible tacked to her wall
- Peter's Quiz Team jacket from Homecoming forms part of the 'shrine' the school built to him
- Night Monkey, the name Ned created for Peter's black ops costume in Far From Home, has caught on and is referenced in a TV news ticker
- During Strange's battle with Peter, they flash by a newsstand covered in Spider-Man magazine covers. On one of them, Liz Toomes, Peter's failed date from Homecoming, can be seen calling Peter a 'liar'
- Despite it being broken during the Battle of London, MJ still wears the Black Dahlia necklace Peter gave her, and is in fact wearing it at the end of the movie even after Strange's spell wiped out her memory. Is this a hint of things to come and that MJ's memory of Peter still exist in some way?
