Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader play a pair of estranged siblings who are reconnected at a particularly dark moment for both in the comedy-drama The Skeleton Twins. And, when a depressed Milo (Hader) leaves Los Angeles to live with a likewise depressed Maggie (Wiig) and her husband (Luke Wilson), its not exactly a seamless homecoming, with fights, lies, and past traumas weighing on the once-inseparable twins throughout. The movies greatest moment of angst and crowd-pleasing comedy comes when Milo comes home to an aggravated Maggie demanding him to get his life together. He attempts to cheer her up by silently putting Jefferson Starships Nothings Gonna' Stop Us Now on the stereo and beginning to lip-sync, imploring her to join him. Maggie resists for well over a minute before finally (and hilariously) giving in to the emotive cheesiness. Its the kind of goofy bit Wiig and Hader couldve sold when they were both on SNL.
