Brad Pitt is no stranger to movies about killing Nazis; his role in 2009s Inglourious Basterds showed him to be quite adept at on-screen violence. His latest film, Fury, is far less light-hearted, however. The film centers around Pitt, who leads a tank unit comprised of Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal, with Logan Lerman playing the role of the inexperienced/overwhelmed new guy who might get us all killed. Together, they venture into Nazi territory during World War II and start blowing people away with the titular machine. When the crew of the Fury find their tank disabled, and an approaching enemy SS battalion en route to flank allied forces, they make the selfless choice to hold their ground and fight the entire SS squad in an immobilised tank no matter the cost. Wardaddy (Pitt) and his boys give the Nazis hell and take many of them down, but one by one they ultimately fall in battle, with only a lone survivor to tell the tale. Aldo Raine would have been proud.
