19. Marv Takes On Manute - Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
Many are used to Dennis Haysbert talking to us about car accidents and being in good hands and whatnot, so this was a real treat. The All State spokesman (and former 24 president) played Manute in Robert Rodriguez's (extremely) long-awaited Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. And in one of the best moments of the film, he goes head to head with bruiser Marv, played of course by Mickey Rourke. Though Manute died during the events of The Big Fat Kill in the original film, here hes alive, well and - for a little while, at least - the proud owner of two eyes. This doesn't last long after Marv promptly rips out one of his peepers after promising his pal Dwight (Josh Brolin) that he wouldn't kill anyone. As he smashes, tortures and maims his way to justice; Marv will always be the fan favourite of this "franchise" precisely because of scenes such as this.
