20 Erotic Thrillers You Must See Before You Die

7. Fatal Attraction (1987)

Without a doubt one of the most famous erotic thrillers ever made, Fatal Attraction stars Michael Douglas in one of countless erotic thriller roles that he would find success starring in during the '90s - so much so, in fact, that he's still thought to be something of a poster boy for the genre. The plot concerns a husband who has a once night stand with a woman who later turns out to be balls to the wall crazy, and her attempts to tear his life apart. Even if you haven't seen it, you know the movie for its most iconic scene, in which said crazy woman (played brilliantly by Glenn Close) boils Douglas' character's daughter's pet rabbit in a stove. Ouch. Though that particular scene doesn't sound all that erotic (it's not), rest assured that there is a lot of raunchiness scattered throughout - especially in the beginning. What's more, Fatal Attraction is a genuinely good movie; an increasingly uncomfortable thriller that also manages to depict an affair that feels real in the moment, and not just there to turn the wheels of a shoddy plot mechanism.
