The Moment: Alright, so there's no Mel Gibson (that fans know of) and it's been a whole 30 years since the last Mad Max film, but even so, Max Rockatansky is back, and what better actor to replace Mad Mel than Tom Hardy? With his history of physically intense performances, there's practically no chance he won't knock this out of the park, regardless of how good (or not) the rest of the movie is. Why It Will Define 2015: Because if it ends up being even half as awesome as it looks, Mad Max: Fury Road is going to be one of the greatest and most insane action flicks of the year. Plus, if Hardy succeeds in the role, he will essentially resurrect one of cinema's most iconic characters, and if the movie brings in solid returns at the box office, Max will be here to stay.
