The Moment: Not so much one individual moment, so much as the entire intent of the fifth major Terminator movie, Terminator Genisys, to create an alternate timeline in which Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) has been raised by a Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from childhood, and in which "everything has changed", rewriting the events from the first two Terminator movies in particular. Why It Will Define 2015: Because the whole idea of a "soft reboot" has become more fashionable with the success of X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Genisys will serve as another test case, to see if alternate timelines can really serve as an all-catch solution to narrative problems. Plus, it's the first time that Arnie has been in the Terminator role since 2003's Rise of the Machines, so regardless of how good (or bad) the movie is, that's a pretty freaking big deal.
