6. Everything Ends - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
The Moment: When the immensely popular, hugely successful adaptation of Suzanne Collins' fantasy novel series comes to an end. Don't worry, no spoilers here, but needless to say, not everyone's going to be exactly thrilled about what happens, as it ranges from the bracingly intense (for a PG-13 movie), to the emotionally wrenching to the...strangely anti-climactic. Why It Will Define 2015: The Hunger Games movie series is one of the most lucrative fantasy franchises in cinema history, and while Mockingjay Part 1 turned in slightly disappointing box office returns, that's likely because even the most casual audiences are aware that the real meat of the story is being saved for the finale. Sure, it's going to prove divisive, but it's also going to steamroll the box office, and should hopefully produce some of the most iconic cinematic moments of 2015, especially if director Francis Lawrence can figure out an imaginative way to inject visceral violence into a PG-13 production.
