The Moment: We know that the movie's mystical characters are able to warp and alter reality, as evidenced by both Doctor Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) mentor The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), and most prominently the movie's currently-unnamed villain (Mads Mikkelsen), who is shown manipulating the architecture of a church and also possibly folding a city on top of itself, Inception-style.

Why It Will Define 2016: Because every year needs its dose of mind-melting CGI madness, and it's going to be tough to top what we've already seen from Doctor Strange's trailers. Though it does look suspiciously similar to Inception, we're willing to bet that what we've seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg.

Plus, Doctor Strange represents yet another ambitious turning point for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as even more peculiar and oddball ideas are introduced to the franchise. Whether it totally works or not, that weirdness is going to be hard to shake, and this could end up being a rare Marvel movie actually worth paying the extra to see in 3D.
