The Moment: Veteran pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) successfully lands US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River after it encounters trouble mere minutes after take-off, with zero engine power to the plane yet miraculously resulting in not a single fatality.

Why It Will Define 2016: Because not only is this an extremely famous real-life tale of heroism against insane odds, but Sully is the first feature film to be shot almost entirely in IMAX, and so you can be sure that director Clint Eastwood will be strapping us in for one hell of a ride.

We're expecting something on the level of the unforgettable crash sequence from 2012's Flight, but the addition of IMAX should beef it up plenty, potentially resulting in one of the most intense and jaw-dropping set-pieces of the entire year. And the fact that nobody dies is a huge added bonus!
