7. Young Albus Dumbledore - Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them
The Moment: The trailers have already implied Newt Scamander's (Eddie Redmayne) prior relationship with Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), and so rumours persist that a young version of Dumbledore will in fact have a cameo in the movie, likely near the end when Scamander's adventure winds to a close.
Why It Will Define 2016: Because audiences can't get enough of Harry Potter, and to see Dumbledore's past explored in even the briefest of cameos would be terrific fan service.
On the other hand, if it ends up feeling forced and shoehorned in, then it may serve as a commentary on the idea of movie "universes", and how studios are becoming utterly, dispassionately obsessed with them, no matter how appropriate they actually are.
