The Moment: Spaceship passenger Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) goes for a swim, only for the ship's artificial gravity to fail, causing her to get trapped underwater in zero gravity, as she struggles to pull herself out before drowning.

Why It Will Define 2016: For one, it's Jennifer Lawrence in a swimsuit, so it's definitely going to end up screengrabbed to death, and secondly, it sounds like a terrifically imaginative (not to mention terrifying) sequence, even if we all know that J-Law won't be biting it in this fashion.

Early footage screenings of the sequence have called it visually jaw-dropping even with currently incomplete effects, so we can only imagine the sort of awed reaction it's going to invite when the movie lands everywhere at the end of the year.
