The Role: Baby, a ridiculously skilled young getaway driver who listens to music to drown out a persistent ringing in his ears. When he tries to quit the getaway business for good and settle down with his waitress girlfriend Deborah (Lily James), his boss Doc (Kevin Spacey) isn't so keen to let him go.
Why It'll Define 2017: Ansel Elgort may have had memorable roles in the Divergent franchise and most of all The Fault in Our Stars, but his work here could very well catapult him from Young Adult fare to becoming a persistent fixture in the action movie arena.
Plus, it goes without saying that collaborating with Edgar Wright is a major step up from the previous filmmakers he's worked with, and if he makes good on the promise of his near-mute bada** driver, as early reviews suggest he does, then this could easily be a true star-maker for the young actor.
