20 Fails That Nearly Killed The Marvel Film Universe

1. Lindsay Lohan Was Almost In The Avengers (Apparently...)

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Lindsay Lohan originally went after an unspecified part in The Avengers, but because her agent didn't lobby hard enough, an "unknown" was cast in the part. Why It Would've Ruined The MCU: Because of her unsavoury public reputation, it's pretty much impossible to take Lindsay Lohan seriously anymore, and that's why she's mostly relegated to self-aware parts in movies like Scary Movie V. If she were in The Avengers in even the smallest part, she'd be completely distracting, and the fanboys would never shut up whining about it. This is if you even believe Lohan's claims that she was ever really up for a part. After all, there aren't exactly many female roles in the movie to begin with, and they were all filled by name actresses: Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cobie Smulders. Whether Marvel really had poor enough taste to consider her for a part or not, it would've been nothing short of terrible. What do you make of these potential Marvel disasters?
