Release Date: 27th May (US) - 17th May (UK) Director: Bryan Singer Starring: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac Following his return to the cinematic franchise he bred with Days Of Future Past, Singer is once again bringing an insanely expansive cast along for the mutant-filled ride. Thrills, spills and chaos seems likely. X-Men: Apocalypse is being held under the tightest of wraps right now - the plot is currently unknown at this time - but the Marvel and 20th Century Fox juggernaut has a healthy pre-summer slot and is sure to rake in big bucks across the global box-office. Reprising their central roles of Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr are McAvoy and Fassbender respectively, whilst Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters (YES!), Rose Byrne and Lucas Till will all be returning. This being a Singer X-Men movie means the cast gets bigger and bolder with each entry so newbies include Oscar Isaac as primary villain Apocalypse, Sophie Turner of Game Of Thrones fame as a youthful Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as loverboy Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, whilst Kodi-Smit McPhee will be getting his Nightcrawler on.
