https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmYsRcLMvO8 The Movie: The scariest movie ever made? Not hardly, but you'd never have known it through the hype that surrounded The Blair Witch Project upon its release. Initially passed off as a legitimate documentary, the film tells the tale of three film students who've traveled to a small town to collect documentary footage about a legendary local murderer. The Ending: After the realisation that they are somehow walking in circles, the last two documentarians run across a decrepit old house that seems to appear out of nowhere. The audience sees bloody hand prints of children dotting the walls, and get the eerie feeling that something is somewhere inside the house. As you could probably guess, things don't turn out well. So, what exactly happened? Is The Blair Witch the killer who single-handedly murders her victims? Was the murders committed by one of their own? Or was the ending simply a last minute decision that doesn't really make any sense? Whatever the case, there is no denying that it's one of the most effectively creepy final moments in film history.
