"You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity." - Buzz Lightyear
There's nothing more biting than an insult that is tinged with a bit of sympathy. Like, you're so pathetic that they actually feel bad for you. Woody is definitely kicking the seething jealousy and resentment into overdrive by this part of the film, after Buzz swiftly supplants him as Andy's new favorite toy, and it leads him to have a violent outburst trying to convince Buzz that he's not actually a space ranger. But the funny part of this scene is that the calm, collected character that responds to this tantrum with such simple, unaffected words is the same person who is totally unaware that he's actually a toy. So really, is Woody wrong to try and talk sense into him? Nevertheless, the simplicity of this line and Tim Allen's perfect delivery make this one of the best in a highly quotable film.
