14. Dobby Is Freed - Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
It's very unfair that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is often named as the worst Harry Potter film. It is too long and the editing is bad, but that's the case with all of the films and it's an absolutely excellent fantasy film for the most part. Also, it's got Dobby the House Elf (Toby Jones), one of the most endearing characters in all of Harry Potter, so that alone raises it up.
Dobby is at the centre of one of the very best scenes in the movie, where Harry tricks Dobby's abusive master, Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs), into freeing him by presenting Dobby with clothes (which frees a house elf immediately).
It's an adorable and wonderful scene which provides a heart-warming end to the dark events of Chamber of Secrets, while it's made even better by Jason Isaacs' brilliant villainous performance.
