20 Greatest Movie Moments Of The 2010s

5. Mad Max Fury Road: The Final Chase

Mad Max Fury Road is arguably the best action movie of the 2010s, so it makes sense that it contains the best action sequence of the 2010s too.

Fury Road is a consistently brilliant spectacle, but it saves the best for last. The final chase in Fury Road is not only blockbuster cinema at its best, but it's film-making in general at its best; every shot, edit, sound-bite and movement come together into a beautifully created whole that makes for a truly incredible and exhilarating experience.

The suspense, the special effects, the production design, the choreography are all completely impeccable and the sequence thrills and flows with machine-like precision. Every time something blows up, it feels like it's about to come flying through the screen. This is, simply put, a cinematic masterclass.

Hopefully George Miller will eventually do more Mad Max, but even so it's hard to imagine him topping this.
