Appears in: Battlestar Galactica The Battlestar Galactica changed little throughout its two incarnations in 1978 and 2003. The ship is all about being functional and effective rather than flashy. It is able to hold around 150 Viper fighters, a collection of land vehicles and a crew of almost 3000. Additionally it has mounted laser batteries and sophisticated shields. The best thing about the Battlestar Galactica though is its ability to withstand a significant amount of damage and continue to work, although it sometimes does this by the slimmest of margins. Held together with spare parts the ship has served as protector for a large number of civilians searching for Earth.
7. Millennium Falcon
Appears in: Star Wars This hunk of junk is probably what every little boy who has ever watched Star Wars wanted to own. Because of extensive (and illegal) modifications by its owners, the ship is very different from the ship it was when it left production. It is heavily armed and able to take a lot of punishment, though it can be slightly unreliable at times. It is also the fastest ship in the galaxy. Thanks to its hyperdrive it was able to travel almost twice as fast as enemy Imperial ships in hyperspace. This makes it the perfect vehicle for smugglers, scoundrels and rebels.
