20 Greatest Video Game Movie Moments EVER

19. The Guard Gets Polymorphed - Warcraft

Mortal Kombat
Legendary

The Warcraft movie wasn't great, but it was at least clearly crafted with a lot of love and respect for the source material. And yet it's finest moment isn't an epic battle but an unexpected dose of fan-serving comic relief.

When Anduin (Travis Fimmel) is imprisoned and attempts to convince the guard to let him out of his cell, the guard is suddenly transformed into a sheep, before it's revealed that mage Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer) performed a Polymorph spell on him.

As if that wasn't fun enough, Khadgar then tells Anduin, "It only works on the simple-minded. Lasts about a minute," referring to both bosses in the games being immune to Polymorph and the spell's duration lasting for a minute.

For fans of the games this was gut-bustingly funny, while for newcomers it likely flew way over their heads.
