Zombie horrors are a dime-a-dozen these days, with everything from The Walking Dead on TV to World War Z on the big-screen running the gamut of slow-burning and fast-paced.

This claustrophobic French-language film focuses on an opposing group of crooked cops and dangerous gangsters who find themselves trapped together on the top floor of a high rise building, forced to work together to fight off the horde of zombies that are closing in on them.

It’s not a film that breaks any particular new ground with the well-worn genre - it seems to revel in bringing out undead situations with which horror fans are all too familiar - but it does what it does very well, providing some truly tense, nail-biting, action-packed Dawn of the Dead-esque zombie horror.
