20 Highest Grossing Movies Of 2016 - Ranked Worst To Best

4. Finding Dory

Suicide Squad
Pixar

Box Office: $1.027 billion (#2)

Sure, it's not as good as Finding Nemo, but considering how perfectly standalone that movie seemed, was Finding Dory ever going to exceed or even match it?

Still, it's an incredibly entertaining animated romp for the most part, driven by the sweet hilarity of characters both new and old.

It's not as sophisticated as Pixar's better films and mostly seems to operate on a single level, but it's a warm-hearted adventure sure to make even the most cynical viewers struggle not to grin.

With beautiful animation and impeccable voice performances, Finding Dory is a winning, belated follow-up even if it doesn't reach the impossibly high standards of, say, the Toy Story sequels.
