Release Date: August 27th Potentially launching another spy franchise for former Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, November Man is based on the enduring popular espionage literature of Bill Granger, the creator of former spy Peter Devereaux (played here by Brosnan). Devereaux is an ex-CIA operative somewhat stereotypically brought back in on a very personal mission who finds himself facing off against a former protege in a deadly game involving high level US Government officials and the Russian president-elect. The film has actually been around since 2005 when Brosnan was attached as a producer immediately after leaving the Bond franchise, and hopefully the slow progress will lead to a matured final product. The Selling Point: Pierce Brosnan basically gets to play James Bond again.
