20 Hottest Stephen King Adaptations Currently In Development
14. Creepshow
Status: Announced
Release: 2019
After years of there being talk of a fourth Creepshow movie, the title is finally coming back, only not the way you might have expected. It won't be a sequel movie, as instead EW announced that streaming service Shudder (which is owned by AMC) is reviving the anthology franchise as a TV series.
The Walking Dead executive producer and legendary effects man, Greg Nicotero will be in as director, executive producer and overall supervisor for the project, too, which is rather exciting.
Here's how Shudder general manager Craig Engler announced the news:
“Creepshow is one of the most beloved and iconic horror anthologies from two masters of the genre, George A. Romero and Stephen King. We’re thrilled to continue their legacy with another master of horror, Greg Nicotero, as we bring a new Creepshow TV series exclusively to Shudder members.”
