The Role: Going by his brief appearance in the trailer, he appears to play a bodyguard or lackey of sorts to witch hunter Kaulder (Diesel). Why It's Unexpected: Angle has acted in a few movies before (probably most memorably as MMA fighter Koba in Warrior), but given his much lower profile in wrestling these days and the fact that most of his acting roles are in TV movies, seeing him in a theatrical feature is a bit of a shock. Will It Work?: Sure. It doesn't seem like he's going to have much of a role (hell, it's not even on his IMDB profile yet), so if he's the near-wordless sidekick who occasionally beats someone up (and hopefully pulls out the Angle Lock for good measure), then he'll be just fine.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
