3. Why Didnt Harry, Ron And Hermione Escape From The Snatchers By Apparating Immediately Instead Of Running?
After their narrow escape from Xenophilius Lovegoods house, Harry, Ron and Hermione Apparate back to the woods where they split from Ron. (At least, thats what it looks like.) Ron grouses about that treacherous little bleeder, then starts off to do the protective enchantments. All of a sudden, theyre surrounded by Scabiors gang of Snatchers. They take off running, and Scabior tells his gang, Well, dont hang about. Snatch them! What the three of them should have done is immediately grabbed hands and Apparated away to another place. The Snatchers would not have been able to follow them, as it was shown earlier that you can only catch someone who is Apparating if you grab hold of them just before they do so. Clearly, they werent thinking, but with as much time as Harry, Ron and Hermione had spent together over the past year, surely they should have discussed what to do if they did encounter anyone interested in capturing them?
