20 Idiotic Decisions Made By Characters In The Harry Potter Films

2. Why Didn€™t Harry, Ron And Hermione Think That Using Bellatrix€™s Captured Wand Might Not Be A Good Idea?

In order to get into Gringotts, Hermione takes a dose of Polyjuice Potion containing one of Bellatrix's hairs, turning her into the evil witch. Along with the goblin Griphook, they brazenly walk into Gringotts and request access to Bellatrix€™s vault. The goblins on duty are immediately suspicious, with the head goblin Bogrod asking her to prove her identity by presenting her wand. Griphook, riding Harry€™s back under the Invisibility Cloak, whispers that they know. Harry performs the Imperius Curse on Bogrod, and he agrees to their request. Earlier, Bellatrix tells Lucius Malfoy to summon Voldemort using the Dark Mark, but they are interrupted by Dobby€™s rescue attempt. As fearful as they are of their master, it€™s safe to say they probably didn€™t tell him that Potter and his friends had escaped capture once again. But since Bellatrix thought the sword of Gryffindor was in her vault (and tortured Hermione to try to confirm it), then had Griphook €œconfirm€ that the sword was still there, it follows that she would think they might use her stolen wand in order to access her vault in order to get the €œreal€ one.
