8. Brie Larson Was Originally Cast As The Lead - I'm Thinking Of Ending Things
Tough though it might be to imagine anyone else in the lead role in Charlie Kaufman's mind-bending psycho-drama I'm Thinking of Ending Things, the unnamed female protagonist wasn't originally intended for the brilliant Jessie Buckley.
Rather, none other than Brie Larson was cast in the part back in December 2018, yet on the eve of the film's shoot Larson departed the project for reasons unknown.
In March, the very same month the film began shooting, Buckley was drafted in as her replacement, and the rest is glorious history.
Though Larson would've done a splendid job with the part no question, it's tough to argue with the uniquely bewitching energy Buckley brings to the table.
