20 Incredible Facts You Didn't Know About 2020's Biggest Movies

6. The Working Title Was "Fox Force Five" - Birds Of Prey

Freaky movie
Warner Bros.

Birds of Prey may have ended up releasing under the frankly ridiculous moniker "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)," but its working title was actually totally different.

The R-rated superhero tentpole was filmed under the name "Fox Force Five," which at first glance might sound like any other totally random working title, though is in fact a reference to Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.

In Tarantino's masterpiece, Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) of course mentions that she filmed a TV pilot called Fox Force Five, and so Robbie - who also served as a producer on Birds of Prey - asked Tarantino if it was OK to use the title for her new film.

"He thought it was really funny," Robbie said.
