7. Tiger Woods, Tony Hawk & Jackie Chan Were Originally Considered To Star - Space Jam: A New Legacy

It wasn't terribly surprising that Space Jam: A New Legacy was a bad movie, especially given that Warner Bros. had basically been trying to get a sequel made since the original film dropped in 1996.

A flabbergasting number of aborted attempts at putting Space Jam 2 together have come and gone over the last quarter-decade, most of them highly questionable to say the least.

The studio originally wanted Michael Jordan to return, but when he refused, they turned their eye towards Tiger Woods for "Golf Jam," then entertained "Race Jam" starring former stock car racer Jeff Gordon, "Skate Jam" with Tony Hawk, and most bafflingly of all "Spy Jam" with... Jackie Chan.

Skate Jam actually very nearly got made, but due to the commercial underperformance of Looney Tunes: Back in Action in 2003, it was subsequently cancelled.

As for Spy Jam? There's no explaining what anyone involved was thinking there. Still, it probably wouldn't have been any worse than what we did end up with...
