Jason Segel portrays David Foster Wallace opposite Jesse Eisenberg's David Lipsky, in the big-screen adaptation of Lipsky's popular book Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself, which transcribes the two authors' eventful five-day road trip. What else do you need to know? Every AP English student across the country can barely hold back their excitement. According to reviews, despite the fact that the movie is almost entirely a dialogue between Segel's Wallace and Eisenberg's Lipsky, it is still completely engaging and should see both actors getting some sort of recognition. Sample review (via Rolling Stone):
"Part two-man play, part psychological profile of a professional profiler and part portrait of a passive-aggressive dick-measuring contest, The End Of The Tour is James Ponsoldt's adaptation of Lipsky's reminiscences, one that somehow manages to transcend casting concerns and a chat-athon structure."
