12. "It's Been A Long Time Since I Got You To Second Base" - San Andreas
The Line: After helicopter rescue pilot Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife Emma (Carla Gugino) tandem jump out of a plane in an attempt to get to and rescue their daughter, Blake (Alexandra Daddario), they land in a baseball field, giving Ray the perfect opportunity to quip, "It's been a long time since I got you to second base." Why It's Awesome: It's hilariously awful, but at the same time, it totally works. Few actors could actually get away with this one, but Johnson's sheer likability sees it through, as well as emphasising that the movie is fully aware of how silly and absurd it is, even for the standards of an effects-driven tentpole disaster flick.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
