6. "None Of This Makes Sense" - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
The Line: When Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) are taking cover in a building during the final battle, he tries to calm her down with a pep talk, saying, "The city is flying and we're fighting an army of robots. And I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense." Why It's Awesome: It's a terrifically meta line from Joss Whedon, noting how the movie is itself pretty much complete nonsense (if admittedly enjoyable nonsense), and how absurd it is that Hawkeye is even an Avenger at all. Plus, given how boring his character was in the original Avengers movie, it's nice to see him demonstrating a little more personality this time around.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
