16. "A Paranoid Schizophrenic Walks Into A Bar..." - Legend
The Line: When the Kray twins(Tom Hardy) show up to a bar expecting a fight, mentally ill brother Ronnie expresses aggravation that a shootout isn't happening, so walks out in a strop. His more level-headed brother Reggie starts talking tough before preparing to tell them a joke. He starts with, "A paranoid schizophrenic walks into a bar...", just as Ronnie returns with a pair of hammers and starts wailing away on anyone in the vicinity. Why It's Awesome: Sure, it's totally theatrical and utterly unconvincing as an accurate representation of how things went down, but it's totally bada** and hilarious all at the same time. It's demented, vicious and weirdly playful: everything Hardy's performance tells us the Krays really were. A close second place goes to the line "A shootout is a f***ing shootout!" from Ronnie moments earlier.
