Just when it seems like Star-Lord and Yondu have been blown to smithereens, Peter manages to use his jet-pack to escape, while Yondu uses his Yaka Arrow to safely float down to the ground.

Upon noticing this, Peter laughs and tells Yondu he looks like Mary Poppins. Yondu's only concern is, "Is he cool?", to which Peter correctly replies, "Hell yeah, he's cool."

Just before Yondu reaches the ground, he proudly shouts, "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!", in what's surely the film's most-quoted quip.

In lesser hands this might've felt like an excessive pop-culture reference, but here it really worked.
