20 Insanely Awesome 2017 Movie One Liners

15. "I Told You Not To Go In That House" - Get Out

Get Out Ending
Universal

Get Out ends with Chris managing to escape the Armitage estate, just as a police car shows up, which the audience presumes will result in Chris being wrongly arrested for the litany of corpses strewn throughout the house's grounds.

As it turns out, the cop car actually belongs to Chris' TSA agent friend Rod, resulting in one of the year's most uproariously crowd-pleasing movie moments.

Once Chris gets back in the car, Rod awkwardly gives him a beat to relax before telling him, "I told you not to go in that house", in the most ridiculously misguided "I told you so" in recent cinema history.

If nothing else, it cemented that Rod was fantastic comic relief throughout the movie, and unexpectedly wise comic relief at that.
