20 Marvel Characters Who Must Be Introduced In Phase 3

5. Spider-Woman

Spider-Woman is another of those characters who no one seems entirely sure about when it comes to where the rights are held (it was once said that Marvel owns Jessica Drew, but can't call her Spider-Woman because of Sony having Spider-Man under their control). Of course, now that the two studios are playing nice, it's about damn time they figure out a way to bring this hero to the big screen. Despite the name, the links between Spider-Man and Spider-Woman are few and far between, and she's actually been both a S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA agent during her storied comic book history. While neither of those organisations are still around, Marvel could play on that and introduce Jessica as an agent of something or other in Captain Marvel, a movie which would be the perfect place for her to take on a supporting role. Alternatively, she could be changed into one of Peter Parker's fellow high school students, but it would be much more interesting if we had Jessica suited up and ready to go by the time Avengers: Infinity War rolls around (especially as she's recently been portrayed as an alien hunter for S.W.O.R.D.). Her and Spider-Man coming face to face in that gigantic team-up movie would also no doubt lead to a lot of awkward fun...
