20 Marvel Characters Who Must Be Introduced In Phase 3

James Gunn has said on numerous occasions that he has no interest in introducing Nova in one of his Guardians Of The Galaxy movies, and he's justified his decision by stating that he wants Star-Lord to be the only human character on the team. That's all well and good, but how much longer will Marvel leave a character capable of carrying his own solo movie on the shelf? Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 will no doubt further explore the concept of the Nova Corps, and seeing as they have one of Thanos' Infinity Stones, the Mad Titan is going to take aim at them before too long. When that happens, they'll need some extra help, and imbuing someone like Richard Rider with a helmet which can help him fight on their behalf definitely feels like something we could see play out in Infinity War. Marvel using that massive two-parter to introduce a bunch of new characters to this world feels like an inevitability, especially with the contracts of many of the Phase 1 actors about to come to an end. With that in mind, a successful introduction for Nova before the end of Phase 3 could very well lead to his own big screen outing in the next wave of Marvel movies!
