20 Marvel Characters Who Must Be Introduced In Phase 3

18. Ghost Rider

Both of the Ghost Rider movies were horrendous, but with the ill-advised sequel proving to be an even bigger critical and commercial flop than the first, Sony had no problem letting the rights revert to Marvel Studios. Like Daredevil, Ghost Rider is damaged goods, so the chances of the Spirit of Vengeance suddenly being given his own solo movie in Phase 3 are somewhere between slim and none. However, the character appearing elsewhere is definitely possible, especially as Marvel are going to embrace the supernatural side of their Cinematic Universe with Doctor Strange later this year. However, if Ghost Rider is going to show up anywhere, I'd place my bets on Netflix. The first season of Daredevil started exploring some mystical ideas, and with Iron Fist set to take that to the next level in a year or two, don't be remotely surprised for Johnny Blaze to make his presence felt in one of these shows in time to line up with the rest of The Defenders in Avengers: Infinity War.
