20. There Was A Star Wars Christmas Album (And It Featured A Young Jon Bon Jovi)
What do you mean you've never heard of it? Christmas In The Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album (did it really need the explanatory subtitle?) was released in 1980, and features Star Wars themed Christmas songs. On top of that, there's also stories about a factory where droids make toys for S. Clause (subtle). Of course, Anthony Daniels reprised his role as C-3PO. Most notably, the album features the first ever professional recording of Jon Bon Jovi (who is credited as John Bongiovi); he sung the lead vocals on the song R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Bon Jovi was a cleaner at the recording studio where his cousin Tony Bongiovi was co-producing the album. Tony suggested giving Jon a shot when one of the co-producers became dissatisfied by the vocals on the track. The co-producer loved Jon's singing and hired him immediately.
