4. David Prowse Has Been Banned From All Official Fan Conventions
Though many of the actors in the original trilogy (and indeed, the prequel trilogy) haven't had a substantial acting career post-Star Wars, many of the more famous characters have been able to earn a living through attending fan conventions and gatherings, collecting appearance fees and selling autographs and signed merchandise. Not David Prowse, however, the actor who played Darth Vader. According to the actor's friends, Prowse has been banned from attending all official Star Wars fan conventions for annoying George Lucas. It's reported that Prowse was originally promised that he would be seen and heard at the end of Return Of The Jedi when Luke removes Vader's mask, but that this never happened in the end. Perhaps this fuelled some sort of bitterness or animosity?
