In Saw IV's introduction, we see John Kramer's corpse being dissected in an autopsy room. Because the corpse looks so real, many people assume that the actor, Tobin Bell, was used for certain shots.

But he wasn't. The corpse is just a really, really lifelike dummy. The film crew spent two full weeks constructing the model to ensure it looked as authentic as possible.

However, one could argue that the prop was too authentic. When Costas Mandylor, who portrays Detective Mark Hoffman, entered the room to prep for his scene, he absolutely believed the corpse was Tobin Bell. He was so embarrassed upon seeing its naked body, he asked for it to be covered up.
