Contrary to what his name would suggest, Leatherface didn’t have just one mask but three and none of them were made from leather but from human skin with each designed to express a different side of his character.

The mask we see him in most of the time – a simple, classic design with bold stitching – is known as his Killing Mask and, funnily enough, it’s what he does most of his killing in.
